About PSOC
The Port Security Operations Center (PSOC) is a state-of-the-art, 24/7 facility within the Port maritime area. It is staffed with a skilled team whose mission is to continuously monitor and improve the safety and security posture within the Port, while deterring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents with the aid of technology and well-defined processes and procedures
PSOC Staff
The PSOC staff provides 24/7 security oversight throughout the Seaport and maintains collaborative relationships with Port tenants, staff, and local, state, and federal agencies. Additionally, the PSOC serves as the Port’s Emergency Operation Center (EOC). The EOC accommodates incident management staff when activated in preparation or in response to a significant safety, security, environmental, or other incident within the Oakland Seaport.
